COVID had had a significant impact on emotional regulation in children. In addition COVID has also placed greater pressure on education to catch up for the deficit in learning that closures resulted in. By giving children the skills to build resilience and be able to more effectively deal with challenges, children can potentially overcome these educational deficits.


Dr. Dodgen-Magee's fascinating article in Psychology Today highlights ways that we can begin to help build those skills in children.
