Ms. Eunyoung Joo

EunYoung is currently an intern at North Tokyo Counseling while completing her M.A. in LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) at the Townsend Institute of Concordia University Irvine, California. She has an international background, having lived in South Korea, Japan, the United States, and briefly in South Asia, and is fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean.

EunYoung is passionate about helping clients build insight into the roots of their mental health challenges within safe, supportive relationships where truth and grace are practiced. She has training in integrative approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and emotion-focused methods, to meet the diverse needs of her clients.
