Working with adolescents a great deal, a significant area that often arises, especially in students in high school, is the area of stress and how to build the resilience needed to be able to contest for the university they may want successfully or how to deal with the everyday interactions that are such a major part of the social stratosphere of schools.

Especially post COVID, returning to socializing in person has been particularly difficult for many students and an area that needs to be constantly addressed. According to the American Psychiatric Association, one area that could greatly relieve stress and build resilience is mindset training. This article is quite an interesting piece on a review by Dr. David Yeager on the benefits of using mindset training to build resilience. Please take the time to read and reflect on how this attitude could help you or a teenager you know.
