When positivity turns toxic

Being positive can be incredibly helpful in dealing with stressful situations as long as it does not lead to avoidance or suppression of negative issues. This piece by Tchiki Davis, Ph.D. is an excellent piece on how to recognize when positivity is hiding more significant issues and how important it is to identify when you are engaged in this negative behavior, and what to do to help build more appropriate systems to help come to terms with stress and anxiety.
